Layout - love

Happy Tuesday! How is your week shaping up so far?  Mine is busy, and I'm very much looking forward to a scrappin' weekend with four of the most fabulous women you will ever meet.  We are all desperately in need of a fun weekend away, and even though we are staying fairly local (very central between our homes) it will be nice to just spend the hours scrapping, stamping, chatting and laughing without looking at dust bunnies, dishes, Mount Washmore and of course hearing... Muuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! 

Today's layout is a fun messy layout that I've been working on over the last few nights.  I didn't realise the photo looks so yellow! Must be the lighting combined with the concrete wall behind it (looked fab on my phone!).  Painful isn't it when photos aren't what you think when you get them up on the screen! If I'm home in time tonight I may retake the photo and maybe some close-ups before I lose the natural light.

Cardstock/paper: Merci, Bo Bunny, page from old book (being turned into an art journal, I can't wait!)

Stamps: birdcage from Bird Song (free with magazine, unknown brand), "love my life" (Kaisercraft)

Inks: Walnut Stain (Ranger Inc), Gesso, Sapphire mist (Glimmer Angels), Ocean Soul smooch, bronze rub

Template: bricks (Kaisercraft)

Embellishments: brooch clasp, metal flower, chicken wire chipboard (Memory Maze) cork letters and chevron (Studio Calico), no-slip matting (yep! that stuff you line drawers with), bronze thread, handmade flowers from spritzed old book pages, doily (SU!)

(It's hard to see, but I used bronze thread to stitch through the non-slip mat to create the horizontal lines :))
